I’m on the edge of whatever this cliff is, I’m center stage yet so far from my role, and here I am, the protagonist of my set. Indifference to any sentiments or lack thereof dances together with my guilt, confusion and fears are the melodies and rhythm to this deadly duet. Will time clear the skies, lift the fog, reveal to my heart and eyes the path forward, the road less traveled, with not the easy brisk wind of change, but mighty gusts of the strength of a monsoon. With pastures that are green, yes, however dashed with thorn and rubble, a sinkhole or two.
